Thursday started with us waking up at 7am and cycling over to the local Opel parts shop to find out if they had the tube we needed in stock, they didn't. We were able to order it but with no eta on the delivery we were stuck in place for the time being.
Not wanting to waste a glorious day, and a not so glorious tan line, we headed to the local beach by bike.
Having been told the mechanic's mate would be at the van for 3pm, we cycled back ready to see if he could concoct a fix. As it turns out he wasn't available so we just hung around Moira waiting until 6pm to find out. We did get to see some very out of place Highland cows though.
The boys were starting to get quite frustrated by being stuck in place and not being allowed their usual freedom so we ended up taking them on 2 evening walks
Friday rolled around and we were starting to feel like this fix for Moira would take the whole weekend when all of a sudden Ali knocked on the window. Low and behold the part had arrived and we were able to get it fitted and be off on the road by early afternoon!! Whilst upset at the cost, holding a handful of 500s was good fun
On arriving back in Copenhagn we parked in the east and cycled in to see Christiania Freetown. Incidentally the answer to the question what would the inside of Moira look like as a town. Struggling for time we decided to split up for the first time this holiday and Danni would stay at Christiania and do some shopping whilst I, predictably, headed to the Danish National Museum
After years of smugly ruining the imagination of children by asserting that Vikings never had helmets with horns I was stunned to come across this pair in the museum. (Zoom in for my clearly stunned expression) these were in fact pre-viking iron age ritual helmets: a soon to be reoccurring feature of any good Mr Acorn classroom near you.
Whilst the viking history was limited in the museum there was this very psychedelic exhibition of a viking sorceress. This came with a very atmospheric headset and spoooooky lighting
At the same time as I experienced my viking fever dreams, Danni vidited the super cool Lego shop in Copenhagen
A little more faffing later we returned to Moira ready to continue our travels. We were greeted by a very confused Gari
Saying a temporary (maybe) farewell to Denmark we crossed over the Oresund straight between Denmark and Sweden on this super impressive bridge.

What a finish! Mighty civil engineering indeed
